As Australia’s natural tree hollows continue to disappear, artificial nest boxes can help to help fill the habitat gap for wildlife. But while the boxes themselves may seem simple, they must be thoughtfully designed, correctly placed, and monitored with care to ensure they’re genuinely beneficial.
