Nurturing Indigenous Gardens - SERIES

Are you passionate about indigenous gardens? Dreaming of a space that’s beautiful, low-maintenance, and supports local biodiversity? Join us for "Nurturing Indigenous Gardens," a three-part series designed to guide you through the principles in designing an indigenous garden that’s low-maintenance, visually impactful, and budget-conscious.

All sessions start at 6pm and are held on -

  • Tues 20th May - Ecological Garden Design: Lessons from the Bush by Michael Benham
  • Weds 28th May - Beyond plants - what else must you include? By Monique Burns & Josh Lay
  • Weds 4th June - Indigenous Gardens Maintenance– Pruning, Trimming, Watering, and Nourishing by Margaret Allan

You’ll learn how to

  • Design a garden that thrives in your local environment by working with light, shade, and natural materials that will enhance street appeal,  integrate views, disguise eyesores, and work with your site’s unique features.
  • Include elements beyond plants that invite native wildlife to stay.
  • Maintain your garden with confidence—pruning, watering, feeding, and more.

Bonus: When you register for the series, you'll receive exclusive access to a pre-recorded session on The Importance of Native Grasses in Your Garden.

Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned gardener, this series will inspire you to create a garden that not only looks stunning—but contributes meaningfully to your local ecosystem.  We can't wait to make a positive difference with you.
