Eucalyptus forrestiana(Fuchsia Gum)Description: Occurs naturally in Western Australia. In late spring and early summer, its bright red flower buds easily rival the Hawthorn’s berries for beauty. They open in summer to reveal yellow flowers and following this, produce red fruits. Both species are commonly seen planted in nature strips- a good indication that they’re tough once established and don’t require additional water to survive over summer.
