Jane Edmanson, OAM
Jane has been a Victorian presenter with Gardening Australia, ABC television’s national gardening program for nearly 25 years. Each Saturday and Sunday morning, in the 3AW studio from 8am till 10am, she presents The Big Backyard’ answering questions and interviewing interesting people from the world of gardening. She also presents Magic 1278’s gardening segments, short, sharp and timely.
She writes for several gardening magazines and has written 5 books with the best selling being Jane Edmanson’s Working Manual for Gardeners which has been reprinted many times.
She takes garden tours every year, both within Australia and overseas and does a lot of garden talks and media presentations. She is Patron of the Royal Horticulture Society Vic., Ambassador for Australia Day, Ambassador of Cystic Fibrosis Victoria, the Friends of the Melton Botanic Gardens and The Gardens of Austin Health.

Josh Byrne is the Patron of SGA’s West Australian Chapter.
He is well known as the West Australian presenter of Gardening Australia and is a regular contributor to the Gardening Australia Magazine. His project to build a low environmental impact, energy efficient house and garden has inspired many. He is also a Patron of the Conservation Council of Western Australia. His ambassadorial roles include The Grove: Leading, Learning, Living, the Living Smart Household Sustainability Program and Smart Approved Watermark.
