Help us ensure Food Security for the Future

So what are SGA going to do towards a food secure future for this great land of ours? We’ve begun by connecting communities, through our SGA PODS neighbourhood gardening groups program. What will my donation go towards?

• Continued maintenance and expansion of our website (30 000+ hits per month) and FREE monthly newsletter (8000+ subscribers)

• Further development and support of SGA PODs (neighbourhood sustainable and food gardening groups)

• Continuation and expansion of our environmental impact ratings program for garden chemicals and other garden products (over 1300 products assessed)

• The development of further general gardening publications

• The development of further sustainable gardening education programs

• Continuation and expansion of our certification programs (including our world first garden centre and landscape professionals environmental certification programs)

• Ongoing administration costs

• Other programs and initiatives that cannot necessarily be charged for, but need financial support to run

How much do I have to donate?

We envisage opportunities for financial support from people with varied backgrounds, incomes and existing financial commitments. Essentially, our Champions of Change are able to donate as much or as little as they like, either as an ongoing monthly commitment, or a one-off contribution. Any donations over $2 are completely tax deductable, and tax receipts are issued for all donations. Sustainable Gardening Australia is a registered charitable organisation. It may be clichéd, but every little bit helps!
